OPI Get Your Number

Today I have for you OPI Get Your Number. This is one of the liquid sands that I said were a bad idea and that I love. A lot. So weird of me. This is after 3 days of wear. There were some chips but they're really easy to cover/correct because of the texture of the polish. Just fill in the area that has chipped and you can't even notice that anything was wrong! These pictures are with flash because there has been no sun in England for a couple of days.

This is 4 coats. After 3 I still had VNL, so I definitely needed the 4th coat. So, it's not good for ladies that just like a couple of coats. But it could have just been my application. I used pretty thin coats. But I do love it. I did realize before that the texture is like a pumice stone but I love it anyway.

Ridiculous New York Haul - Part 2

So, this part will consist of make-up and other miscellaneous thingies and presents. I went a little crazy at Sephora (including some polishes that were in the last post). I had lots of discount codes and Wrapp coupons so that I placed several orders before I even got to New York. I also wanted to say that because I purchased so much stuff (including clothing that I'm not going to post) I ended up having to leave quite a few things behind at my mom's house. So if you don't see something you sent me, that's what happened. Sorry! First up are my purchases.

I'm also going to do a couple of other blog posts of other things that I got (such as Christmas presents and jewelry that I purchased).

These next ones are from my friend, Gina, at Red Dog Designs
We did a secret santa swap in a group I'm a part of and these are
the amazing polishes she sent me (along with a bunch of other amazing goodies!)
She knitted these little hats and scarves herself. How super adorable are they?!?!

and Zoya Blaze

China Glaze Atlantis and Glitter Goblin
Sinful Blue By You, Rise and Shine and Mint Apple

I can't say Thank You enough for all the beautiful polishes that I recieved as presents. I am so spoiled. I just wanted to also say I'm pretty sure I put all the polishes with the right names but I'm not 100% sure. I'm sorry if I messed up but I never wrote down who sent me what and it's hard to remember after a few weeks. I also think I accidentally left some at my mom's house, so if there's something that's not pictured, it's because I'm a little absentminded :) Tomorrow I'll be posting about all the makeup and miscellaneous presents I got!

Illamasqua Nomad and Whimsical Ideas by Pam I ♥ NY

Today I have for you Illamasqua Nomad with Whimsical Ideas by Pam I ♥ NY. My good friend, Ana, sent me ♥ NY as a Christmas surprise. I was so excited and I love it so much. Thank you! Before I went to NY I actually painted my toenails with Nomad and as soon as I put it on, I thought it was a typical Statue of Liberty color and it would look great with ♥ NY (at this point, it was on my wishlist and I was thinking about getting it eventually). So, as soon as I got it, I couldn't wait to get back to the UK and put it over Nomad!

Overall, I love this color combination. I did have a few issues with application. Nomad was kind of streaky and very unusual for an Illamasqua polish. It seems a bit thick and I don't know if that's how the formula is or if it was open for a while before I got it. Sometimes that happens and leaves the polish thick and gloopy. I ♥ NY was okay to apply but I had to fish around for the hearts, which I guess is typical for a polish like this. The hearts aren't that plentiful so I wasn't too surprised that I had to fish around for them.

Illamasqua can be purchased at Sephora or from Illamasqua. For information on how to order Whimsical Ideas by Pam, go to her Facebook page.
