May 2014 Favorites

A whole day early but I figured I might as well get this post together before I forget completely :) Not as many polish favorites this month as in previous months. I didn't seem to post that much, for whatever reason. I'd blame the lack of sun but I'm not sure if that's what happened or not!

On May 9th, I wore Emily de Molly Seeing Red.
Look at the pretty!

On May 18th, I posted Superficially Colorful Fascinated.

On May 19th, I wore the one that started it all, Gosh Holographic.

On May 22nd, I posted Darling Diva Polish If Anyone Falls.

What are your favorite polishes this month? I'm obviously still in love with holos. I hope my love never ends.

April 2014 Favorites

Wow. I know a lot of people say things like this but HOW is it May already??? Seems like only a couple of weeks ago that I came back from NY but that was over 3 months ago! Today, I have 6 of my favorite polishes from April for you.

On April 1st, I wore Femme Fatale Ruby Hare.

On April 8th, I wore this mani with Cirque Alter Ego and
Too Fancy Lacquer Mistletoe because my niece, Lily, told
me to wear green and black nail polish.

On April 10th, I wore Elevation Polish Aconcagaua.

On April 14th, I wore Northern Star Polish Janus Rising.

On April 18th, I wore Enchanted Polish March 2014.

On April 26th, I wore Sonoma Nail Art Sonoma Sunset

What are your favorite polishes that you wore this month? I'm favoring indie holos, as you can tell, at the moment. I'm kinda obsessed.

March 2014 Favorites

I'm going to be starting a new feature here on the blog, where I post monthly favorites from polishes I've posted on my Facebook page. I post there 2-4 times a week there, sometimes more, sometimes less. I'm not sure how often people find or look at this blog but I thought I'd keep it up more often (well, at least once a month) by doing this.

On March 1st, I posted this mani with Elevation Aguja St Exupery

On March 15th, I posted this mani with Elevation Salcantay (SBP)

Superficially Colorful Lacquer Daring

Wow! A blog post? What's going on?? Well, I took pictures of this amazing polish and I couldn't just pick one to put on my Facebook page (where I post a lot more often). This is the amazing thermal polish called Daring from Superficially Colorful Lacquer! First up, here are the two main colors of the polish:

*all pictures taken with flash!*

When applied, it's orange but with the heat of your
fingers, it turns yellow.

Put your fingers under some cold water, and the
polish turns orange!

Beautiful sparkely polish!

Now, the thing that I love most about this polish is the way it looks when it's both yellow AND orange! It's truly amazing. I took lots of pictures of this part!

SO BEAUTIFUL! Obviously, the same effect will happen when you go out in the cold then come back into a warm building but since it's not that cold here yet, I just had to run my nails under cold water. Although, even as I'm typing this, there is some orange right on the tip of my nails, so it won't be long until it's cold enough to see more drastic changes without cold water. I have a few more of these and I can't wait to try them!

These aren't for sale at the moment but check out (and like!) the Superficially Color's Facebook page to see if she ever changes her mind!
